India-UAE COVID’19 Travel Guidelines | That You Should Follow

Because I was raised in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, even after relocating to Bangalore, India in 2004, I missed the atmosphere and lifestyle I was reared in as a youngster.

I promised myself that I would offer my parents the same opulent lifestyle that they had given me. Hence, I decided to migrate to Dubai, UAE after acquiring Sufficient Job Experience post pursuing my Master’s Degree.

Everything was planned accordingly. In 2020, I was ready to resign from my job and, as planned, I was prepared to serve my notice period while my visa was being processed. But unfortunately, owing to the outbreak of the COVID ’19 pandemic, I had to postpone my plans because international travel was banned across the globe and had very strict travel guidelines.

I contemplated keeping my current job and deferring my relocation plans until next year since I could not afford to lose my job during the hard times of the Pandemic, especially when there was a Corona outrage all over the world.

As the situation improved, air bubble flights between India and several nations, notably the United Arab Emirates, were reinstated. This time, I was determined to realize my desire that had been left unfulfilled the last time owing to the Pandemic. Hence, I gave my resignation, and when I was already serving my notice period, I came across some awful news, which said that “Many nations, including the UAE, have suspended flights from India since India was heavily hit by the second wave of COVID’19, causing a significant impact on the nation.”

This left me heartbroken, demotivated, and jobless as I had already resigned from my existing job. But I gathered courage, collected confidence, and, after motivating myself, I decided not to lose my ambitions to COVID’19. The situation in India deteriorated with each passing day and there was no trace of flights being resumed from India to the UAE. But all I could do was to stay strong, pray to the Almighty for better conditions in India and wait for the flights to resume.

Following specific COVID’19 travel Guidelines, the UAE government eventually confirmed the resumption of flights from India to the UAE on August 30th, 2021. I promptly began the requirements of my visa application process. I got my visa in two days, and I was set to go to Dubai within the next 8 days with the aid of my hero, my father, who is my biggest support system and he also plays a vital role throughout my journey of turning aspirations into reality.

India To UAE List Of Travel Guidelines.

Back in sept’2021 before I begin my flights to UAE I had to ensure to follow the below-mentioned travel guidelines:

  • A valid negative COVID ’19 PCR test certificate with a QR code issued within 48 hours of the time the sample was collected from an approved health facility.
  • A rapid PCR test report with a QR code for a test conducted at the departure airport within 6 hours of departure
  • Travelers must take a mandatory rapid PCR at the airport on arrival.

Finally, the day arrived when my dreams would become reality. My younger brother also accompanied me to the United Arab Emirates. Our aircraft was scheduled to depart at 10:40 AM, and we reached the airport at 5 AM for a rapid PCR test before departure. We received the reports within 20 minutes.

We headed towards the check-in counter. At the counter, they verified PCR test reports and all other required documents.

We then headed towards the security checkpoint, before proceeding towards immigration. They asked some general questions at the immigration counter before allowing us to board the plane.

The entire journey was pleasant, peaceful hustle free. Once we landed at Dubai airport, we were again asked to undergo another PCR test. We were then finally out of Dubai Airport following immigration formalities.
